Father’s Day Gift Guide

I don’t know about you but for some reason I find my father, husband and father-in-law really hard to buy for!  But the process of gift-giving is (usually) very rewarding and if you have the time to scour around it can be fun too. If you don’t have the time though – I’ve pulled together some of the cool things the guys in my life would appreciate.

I don’t know why but this Beer Boot just really made me laugh. Its kind of cute and quirky and a good conversation starter!

I purchased one of these as a hostess gift before and it really impressed – its just a super cool spin on your typical wine holder and defies gravity!  Bonus that it is locally made out of reclaimed barn wood.

Every guy needs a constant good quality rotation of fun socks. You can’t go wrong with classic Hudson’s Bay styling – #stripespotting at its best!

Bring some plant life into his life with this playful dinosaur terrarium by Crown Flora. Another local gem, you can contact the shop for a custom made terrarium such as this one for the father in your life. No guarantee the kiddies won’t keep their hands off it though!

If you’ve ever been to BATL you’ll agree that axe-throwing can be a great time!  This beauty is a real treat and will be perfect for to take out on gorgeous nights camping or to split some wood for the fireplace! Or (let’s be real) to hang up and display as a gorgeous piece of handcrafted art.

If getting down with a good ole nosh is more your dad’s style, try Toronto’s Von Doughnuts for a creative range of flavours. Grab some for me while you’re there!

Hope you’re all enjoying the strange but beautiful weather lately (tornado warnings?!) and here’s to a Happy Father’s Day!
